This week at {Pin}spirationalchallenges the inspirational picture is related to Breast Cancer Awareness
and as October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month I would like to dedicate my card to all the women who were affected by it someway or the other. Prevention is always better and it definitely helps if this disease is caught in the early stages. So don't delay GET SCREENED today.
I have used the Bugaboo Digi on my card and used the spellbinders die cuts to layer my card. I embossed the white cardstock and added a pink ribbon at the bottom. For embellishments I used pearls, glitter and punched out flowers and colored the digi with markers.

Personalised Gifts

I made these personalised shadow boxes for my kids teachers as gifts.Teachers play a very important role in educating the kids.Initial years in school are very important as it shapes your thinking, attitude and your views. As Solomon Ortiz said,"Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impression in the lives of their students." I wanted to make something that will be a keepsake for them.
My frames are for the ICRC32 Challenge this month at ICR which is Back To School with a Twist of using any school elements. So do join us this week also and show us your wonderful creations.
To make these frames I used shadow boxes and used my cricut to cut out the alphabets.I love the shadow  feature on the cricut which lets you cut out the alphabet a little bigger so that you can give the layering effect to your project. I added embellishments I had in my stash to go with the school theme.Hope you all like it and I would love to hear your comments. Thanks for stopping by.

Summer Butterfly

As you all know that this months theme at ICR is a summer butterfly with buttons or brads .For the second round of inspiration I created this card using repeated stamping of the same flower with different colors and used the same colors to punch out the butterflies.I used Martha Stewarts butterfly punch, this punch is really neat as you can get a 3D effect by attaching the butterflies to each other.I have also added washi tape and brads to my card.I have also used distress ink along the edges.Do join us for this fun and easy challenge.

{Pin}spirational challenge#56

Hi all..I am back with another project I made for{Pin}spirationalchallenges #56.
This time too we have a very cute picture to get inspired from .I embossed my card with cuttlebug and fussy cut the image of the bear.I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color.Rounded the opposite corners to make it look a little different from the usual four corners and added a green ribbon.I wanted to keep this card very simple and did not want to add a lot of embellishments.I did not use any stamped sentiment because I felt that the words on the embossed background said it all.The sponsor this week is  Craftysentimentsdesigns .
Today I used one of the images sponsored by them. The inspiration picture is given below.I took inspiration from the little bear the mouse is holding.

Hi All..I wanted to share a card I made for the {Pin}spirational Challenge55.The inspiration picture this week is of a sweet little girl.It is a beautiful picture which shows the innocence of a child and how they are mesmerised by little things.I feel once we grow up we stop appreciating the little things in life and I thought the sentiment would be a good fit for this project. When I saw the digital image of Nevaeh I knew she would be perfect for today's challenge. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color her and I am so happy to have found these markers. These are absolutely amazing. For her face and skin I used copics. The image of Nevaeh is from Saturated Canary. They are the sponsors for this week and they have some beautiful images.
